Hey Community. Has anyone ever used Uber to get to the TH?
I was wondering how viable this solution might be when you're unable to secure a midnight to midnight parking permit. I was thinking from the Brush Creek PnR.
The shuttle doesn't run until 8am and that is way too late to get started up a mountain.
Also, does anyone have a midnight to midnight parking permit for July 28 that they're not going to use?
Thanks!

Well damn. OK thanks for the heads up.
Does anyone know if they actually release more parking permits 72 hours in advance?
I called them today and the person I talked to said they didn't, but I swear someone on here said that's how they always got parking permits. So I was banking on that, but it doesn't seem to be panning out very well for me, lol.

Re: Uber to Maroon Lake TH?
I was thinking about doing Pyramid that same date. I understand we could get an early ride in via https://www.blazingadventures.com/trip/ ... s-shuttle/. Then ride shuttle bus on the way out. Blazing cost is $100 per person, minimum of 4 ppl. I have a group of 2 (maybe 3) so if you want to join our shuttle it would still be expensive but at least not $200...ha ha. Let me know if interested.

I was wondering about the thumb out approach.

I did the 73 hour thing last year and it worked, it was like buying panic tickets for red rocks

Thanks.

Something lie 72 hours, I forget the details of the site but I remember testing the theory before hand to see how it all worked without actually buying the ticket, then did it the 3 days before I needed it, we also had a back up plan to him mount sopris or castle
