This weekend, Nick (eskermo) summited Jagged, completing the Centennials!
When we first met 10 years ago, he was already working on the list. He could have finished a while back, but instead, he spent countless days repeating 14ers with me while I was getting my mountain climbing legs under me (I was a newb when we first met). A decade ago, he made an attempt on Jagged armed only with paper maps, reaching the base of the climb before getting completely rained out. To finally summit Jagged under clear skies, alongside his wife, was the perfect redemption. I'm incredibly grateful to have been able to share Jagged's summit with him. Cheers to the best climbing partner (and husband!) - Nick!

Congrats on a big achievement! Jagged is a great one to finish on!
The summit is a source of power. The long view gives one knowledge and time to prepare. The summit, by virtue of the dizzying exposure, leaves one vulnerable. A bit of confidence and a dash of humility is all we get for our work. Yet to share these moments with friends is to be human. C. Anker
Nice work! Especially like the backstory. Congratulations and happy trails!
