It was quite the choice but I chose the one on the right. Hop Rod Rye was a very good brew!! One of my new favorites.

Am I the only one that thinks that Dry Dock's Three Heavy Wee Heavy is far and away the best thing ever tasted? Their Double IPA (formerly Seven Seas) is darn good too. Outside Colorado, I'm a big fan of Oomegang's Three Philosophers. For the backpack, Modus Hoperandi is my beer of choice.
Sometimes when I reflect on all the beer I drink, I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. I think, "It is better to drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

Labatt Blue (best for all day drinking)
Dale's Pale Ale (best canned beer you can get, tastes great on the mountain top)

Anyone ever heard of Tallgrass Brewery? It's in Kansas. Having been forced to repetitively drive through this remarkably unremarkable place to get someplace else, I never would have guessed I would be recommending anything from there, but...

Just got back from Healdsburg, CA. Mostly wine tasting, but got 2 awesome breweries in as well:
Bear Republic in Healdsburg and Russian River in Santa Rosa. All I knew of Bear Republic was Racer 5. Their other selections on the "Hoppy" flight blew me away too.
Pliny the Elder on tap at Russian River was worth the trip, by itself.
