 Evans from summit lake
With the road open to summit lake and little knowledge of the the area, why not check it out? Id been skiing the home zone for two weeks now and the weather was looking better for Evans.

<figureImage>We were driving up the Evans road around 7 and Hiking by 7:30

<figureImage>
We planned to ascend the slant couloir in the middle of the frame here to the lookers right of the summit.

<figureImage>
We made good time to the base of the couloir no skins needed on this trip, I was wishing I had my couly skis!

<figureImage>
Hiking up the couly was quick with some mixed snow ice and rock at the top.

<figureImage>
<figureImage>A short hike to the top and a summit ski was in. we skied from the summit and traversed/ hiked to our ascent route a quick down climb into the couly and a fast ski back to summit lake.

Congrats on the summit. I am thinking about the north couloirs this week but am worried about the rapid warming that is forecast.
