Beta...
* No need for slow shoes, there's a good trail to treeline, and then the rocks are pretty well wind scoured
* No one has yet put the track in for the winter short cut from the lightning bridge
* No real use for ice tools, I used one just because I brought it
* Route was comfortably protected with nuts and a few cams to 1"
Hey George,
Great report, looks like you had nice conditions. Congrats! Question: Did you happen to notice the ice conditions in Ev‘s Chimney? It would have been just to your right on the ascent. I‘m thinking of going up soon to try that but won‘t bother if the ice is too thin. Thanks in advance for any beta.

I would love to hike that trail in the winter time. Unfortunately I dont have the skills to do so yet. So jelouse right now. Awesome report. Thanks for sharing.
Thats great!I‘m into some rope climbing as a means of getting to the top.I need more time with lead head to be safe enough for my liking.I could‘nt find this route in Bill‘s word‘s so thanks.Although I‘m fine on belay and clean gear just fine.
I'm using a Pentax Optio W20 and Joey was using a Panasonic Lumix. I really like the Pentax, it's water/dust proof so I never hesitate to take it out. It's small enough to carry comfortably on a cord around my neck.
Yes the pics are sweet I have'nt seen good pics like this for awhile!Whats your rating on the cabels?I could look on the 14ers site but I like the climbers opinion.Bill most likely has it right on but ya never know so...thanks guys well done,BRAVO!!
You got some really great photo‘s up there, well done. What camera were you using? Congrats on a great route and climb also.
