 The "Casual" Route?
A long held goal when finally accomplished can be very sweet. Here is my report of a climb of Longs Peak's Diamond via The Casual Route. It wasn't casual.

Longs is my favorite...I keep going back for more. And, after all these years, I‘ve barely scratched the surface of the available routes.

Poor Brian. I put the spotlight on a couple of his bigger mistakes, but he is a safe and reliable climbing partner. A good guy and a good friend.

I‘m not a technical climber, but your report was a good read. Thanks for contributing.

Your partner Brian sure makes your Longs Peak trips interesting (falling into Chasm Lake, slipping on the Ledges, and dropping one of his shoes in this report). Glad everything came out alright though! Nice job on all the routes you‘ve taken up Longs.
