 Huron - Standard- early snow!
Did Huron this morning, Sunday, August 27th. The storm that produced a lot of rain for the front range last night dusted the high mountains near Huron. The Three Apolsols looked amazing. I would guess there was 6 inches of snow above 13,000‘. The drifts into the trail made for a slippery climb. I love those trekking poles! It was a great day to hike and reminded me that winter is not too far off.
