Had an incredible day on Huron last Friday (the 17th). We took our Ford Escape up the 4-wheel drive road to the trailhead, and started out a little after 5 a.m.
All along the route the weather and the view were awesome. We had a rookie with us, and he giggled like a school girl all day long. When we reached the summit, I couldnt help but agree. Words cannot adequately describe the view from the top, which we had to ourselves. Suffice it to say, it was the best Ive seen...and this was #22.
We even got to glissade (sp?) on the way down. A truly unbelieveable day!
