Did Massive on Sat. as well in the standard trail. Hit the trailhead at 6:00 and made it to the peak at about 11:30 (two of us are newbies and this was our second climb, so we are a bit on the slow side, not to mention we are from Nebraska!) Stayed at the top for 20 minutes or so, and then started heading down because the clouds were slowly rolling in.

I loved this hike - it was very scenic the whole way, even through the trees on the Colorado trail. I would recomend it to anybody. We also did Elbert two days before, and thought Massive was much easier (it actually took us a bit longer on Elbert, I think becasue of the steepness)

Chicago Transplant, you likely passed us, both on the way up, and the way down! (we were three guys that probably looked exhausted! :-)
