Just a quick report on Royals North Face. After a nice hike up the Royal trail, A couple of buddies and I parted ways with Ben, Brian Rick and Company at the saddle as they were headed for the slot. Theres a few ways one can ski down Royals North Face from the Summit proper. On this day we were looking to get a clean ski of the summit down the north face proper. (we had a 35m just in case) This line has been catching my eye for some time now as well as many others im sure. There seems to be another variation into this line with a rap,coming in from lookers lef of the timber but clean skiing if possible is always nice.

Anyone who has been on Chief or Witchta for that matter has surely noticed that its in this year. The route we took runs of the summit through the timber and then cuts back lookers right. In the upper timber
We had some nice turns up top before it got pretty darn steep. a little traverse and we had some steep fun turns before it mellowed out. oops forgot to rotate,
Brian riding the shelf above a few cliffs. a little goatin lower down but skis and board on top to bottom. looking up from the midpoint

The shelf was mellower than expected with the trees up top being the most gnar.
Certainly worth skiing again.
All in all Frisco has been skiing great this year!
