Driving Directions
From CO 17 in the town of Moffat, turn east onto Russell Street (County Road T), toward Crestone. Drive 11.8 miles, then turn right (south) onto Camino Baca Grande just before entering town. Drive 5.3 miles to the signed trailhead (17.1 miles total from Moffat). The first 2.4 miles of Camino Baca Grande are paved; it then becomes dirt/gravel, with the final mile becoming narrow.
 Notes
This trailhead is on private land but has public access. Please be respectful of the private land in the area! There's a very short, moderately rough section at the very end, but even low clearance 2WD vehicles should be able to make it with careful driving. No bathrooms or other facilities.

Parking was not a problem at 2pm on a Friday but there were already 5 vehicles there. I'm sure it started to get pretty tight by 4pm. There's just not a lot of parking at this trailhead.

Winter Access

Maintained to the trailhead. The small parking area may not be plowed.
