Esprit had a light dusting from the previous night that is probably gone by now. Shavano had a bit more snow, but no need for microspikes, etc. The rest of the route was free of snow and ice. |

10/15/2019 Route: East Slopes Posted On: 10/16/2019, By: supranihilest Info: From the "Esprit"/Shavano saddle it's a simple and short hike over to "Esprit Point". There's a little bit of talus near the summit but most of it is open tundra. It took me under 20 minutes round trip from saddle to summit. |
