Bierstadt is good to go! Started the hike at 5am, back to the car by 11am. The water crossing is still a little high, but if you take it slow and choose your steps wisely it's not impossible to cross without getting wet. After that it's smooth sailing. Only one very small patch of snow left on the route, but it was very easy to work around. Mud was minimal. No special equipment needed. |
