Parked 3 miles below TH near Paris Mill. Road past PM consists of bare road with significant snow/ice patches that would impede most vehicles. The extra 6 miles RT of road hiking is annoying at best. Democrat is holding the most snow, Cameron-Lincoln-Bross are highly scoured by the winds. Winds are definitely a factor to consider in the winter. We were battered around by winds for most of our trip after summiting Democrat and there aren't too many places to take a break from the winds along the way. If taking on the group, do not underestimate the time needed to complete. We started at about 7:30 am and arrived back at our cars around 6:15 pm. Don't forget to bring a headlamp - we walked the 3 mile road back with ours.
