Did not go all the way up, only to about 11,500 with the family. However, the trail is mostly snowpack up to that elevation. My kids used cheap Costco yak track knockoffs, while the wife and I just wore our hiking boots. The footing was pretty good, although slipperier going down of course. There was the occasional post holing, but it was not that often. |
