I did a recon hike today on Longs with an intention to check out the conditions of the NW couloir. We turned around not far past the Keyhole on the ledges as the snow is very loose and unpredictable. There's a lot more snow up there than there was on my winter ascent in Feb. Getting to the Trough will be tricky for awhile. |
