 Report

The gully from the col is still full of snow. Traction is recommended. V Notch has some snow in it but easily passable. Here is a youtube video taken from the Notch up to the summit.

Sweet Vid!     05/29/2012 20:05
Awesome vid, good job! It looks like its melting fast up there. Two weeks ago the 'v' was totally plugged. Congrats, nice climb. Peace.

Thanks, I saw your trip report and was expecting much more snow than what was up there. It's melting quickly.

What's recommended for Lavender couloir? Crampons or microspikes will be enough?

Traction     05/30/2012 18:01
I didn't have any traction and made it up but wished I would have brought my Crampons. I saw two others with Crampons doing it.
