? (WINTER) HOLD ON! If you don't have much high-elevation, winter climbing experience, be careful in your planning and take a partner. All 14er routes are more difficult and more dangerous in winter.

TH: Italian Connector

From Taylor Park Reservoir, head NW along Taylor Rd. (CO Rd. 742). Take a left onto Italian Creek Rd. (CO Rd. 759).

Proceed approximately 10mi until you see the sign "Italian Connector Tr. No. 648" on the left. On the way, you will pass private property on the left, this is where the road is most rough, relatively big boulders to drive over.

Park in pullout near sign or proceed 0.3mi further where you will find a larger lot (this is technically where the trail starts).

The trail is well marked from the TH all the way to the summit. It starts off with a few switchbacks then follows the west and south ridges leading to the peak. See trail photos and maps for reference.
