 Mt Sherman Summit

Drove from county road 18 up the 4wd road to the gate at 12,000 ft. The dirt road was bumpy and a couple of times required some minor clearance, but 4wd was not necessary. The path to the top is a little confusing at times as there are a number of side trails leading to abandoned mines. The path is also above tree line the entire way making bathroom opportunities very scarce.
The route itself is one of the easier ones I have done so far. There is plenty of loose rocks, but I would consider this hike more of a class 1 rather than the class 2 that is is rated. A number of people of all skill levels and dogs were at the top when we reached the summit. The path does get a little steep in some locations with several false summits, but all in all this is a pretty easy 14er.
