 Grays/Torreys Combo-Standard

Came up from Tampa, Fl for Boulder Boulder and maybe a few 14ers. Decided on Grays/Torreys for my first due to the location and trip reports from here. Made it to summer trail head in small 2WD rental car. It was a little bumpy but doable. Stayed in Frisco the night before and started the hike at 7:00am. One of the first views of the 2 peaks. Image As you can see, beautiful sunny day, snow still on upper third of hike. Hiking boots only, no snowshoes. Followed up other tracks in snow to saddle, didn't see the trail until the decent, which I didn't take since I was heading over to Torreys. From atop Grays. Image Torreys from Grays. First 2 14ers, perfect day for hiking. Hit Grays summit at 10:00, Torreys right before 11:00 and back to car by 1:30. Did Quandary next day, will post quick report on it also.

I think I met you as you were going up. I had climbed dead dog that morning and I was from Georgia as well, same climber? Congrats on your first two, they get addicting.

Hey man, same Ga guy. It was good seeing the stickers all over your car. Thanks for the helpful words.
