 board grays west side

after one failed attempt from loveland pass(weather) the second try was from peru creek. My self and the traveler set out to snoboard the west side with his dog ollie The first day we towed in gear. With two plastic sleds in tow, the two of us ,with snowshoes, went far enough up peru creek to see grays. at approx 11,000'. we camped out that night and went night sledding with head lamps. Fairly early start. Most gear was left at camp. We brought avy gear, boards, and water. The april snow was deep so snowshoes were requried to the ridge at tree line. the dog took off after a mountain goat and came back without her pack, bummer. It was cold and cloudy when we summited a little after noon. short stay on top. About a hundred feet from summit one of the lines on the west side started. It was great riding. steep and smooth. We rode boards out to the flats above camp. Required very little walking out. Packed it all out then celebrated. A good day on grays.
