 Yale, challenging yet rewarding.

My guidebook said Yale would test your legs, no matter which ascent you choose and it was right! I chose the Denny Creek Trail? i believe it was called. The first couple miles of the climb you follow a series creeks whose beauty you would imagine to find in a calender somewhere. Then you reach the last 2/3 of the climb, this is where the work really begins! At about 12,000-12,500 you get a glimpse of the peak and how much effort you still have ahead of you. The most unpleasant part was the last 100-200 yards of scrambling, which had very high falls at places but my dog made it w/out help.
