 mt. massive - southwest slopes

This hike was awesome. I could'nt make it all the way to the north half moon creek trail head because i don't have 4wd, but even the hike on that road was nice with views of the river.
I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to hike due to the rain that lasted all night. I figured I would at least go up to tree line and make the decision. I ended up hiking above the clouds for some of the most amazing views of mt. elbert.
As I started approaching the ridge there was snow from the night before. I had a great view of south massive before reaching the summit.
I had so much fun on this hike and can't wait to do it again.

Massive SW is a nice hike. The clouds and ”frost” make for some nice views. Thanks for sharing
