 Kite Lake Loop

Left from Denver at 6:30, arrived at the trailhead at 8:45. The parking lot was packed, with cars parked up and down the road.

Followed the trail up between Democrat and Cameron, getting to the saddle in just under an hour.

Turned west and headed for Democrat. For me this was the worst part of the whole trip. The boulder field made it hard to get going. I made it to the top of Democrat at 10:40.

I then headed backdown towards the saddle to head back up towards Cameron and Lincoln. I made it to the top of Cameron at 12:00. It was very windy, which was bringing in a storm.

Made it to Lincoln at 12:20, to see the storm coming in. Stayed on top just long enough to take a picture of Bross.

After high tailing it off Lincoln towards that last 14er of the group, I made it to the top at 1:20. It was snowing/raining, but I found the broken 14ers.com summit paper container.

Worried about the storm, I hurried down Bross' ridge towards Kite Lake. I thought this was the best part of the trip. Even though there were some sketchy parts, it was a good trail with a good view all the way down. I made it back to the car at 2:30.
