 nice hike

We started out at 4:45 AM. Knowing it is a long hike, we wanted an early start.

It is a long hike. Harvard can be seen in the background of the following picture.
The trail is marked well, but it fades into the snow at times.
The final portion of the route was slightly sketchy.
We made it safely to the top and descended shortly because of the clouds.

As soon as we got back to the trailhead, we felt rain. It was a good, long, successful hike. There is still considerable amounts of snow, but it can be avoided in most cases, or it is soft enough to walk through without the need of crampons.

At the end of the day we celebrated with a beer.
