First 14er Ski Descent! Gray‘s Peak Bike Hike Skin ‘n Ski

Parked at the lower parking lot by the Bakerville exit. With skiis/pack on my back I biked from the lower lot up the road to the Stevens Gulch trailhead. Ditched the bike in the willows (they are good for something afterall) and continued on foot up to the snow. Put skins on and skinned part way up the east face of Grays and then hiked in my ski boots the last little bit to the summit. Proceeded to ski down east face of Grays from the summit. One of the most physically exhausting yet rewarding adventures I've embarked upon. Perfect spring corn, spectacular views, made some new friends along the way.
