 13,900 on Princeton

After getting about half way up Evans and Quandary last year my 8 year old son Logan wanted another shot at a 14er. Here is his report:

We camped on Princeton at 11,000 feet in the back of our truck.
We started climbing before sunrise. We had a banana for breakfast.
We hiked up the road first, then we hiked on a trail to the boulders.
On the boulders there was a bit of snow in patches. We walked carefully across the boulders and snow fields.
We hiked to the summit ridge and almost made it up top.
We got too tired so we turned around at 13,900 feet.
It was fun day! I hope to do Sherman with my mom in two weeks. Wish me luck.

Good job Logan. Princeton can be tough! You‘ll have to talk your mom into a little glissading on Sherman. ;-)

Awesome climb!
