Good Work!

Well done guys... my buddy and I were up there that morning, we left the parking lot about the same time as your group, but we turned around about half way up the face. We couldn‘t see anything.
So well done, way to push through...

Great climbing and skiing photos ... looks steep! I like the apres ski shots, too. Those brats look tasty! And Odell IPA, NB Sunshine Wheat, and Upslope in the can?

If I hadn‘t made my mind up about A/T‘s before; the beer and brats settled it.
Looks like you guys had a great time.

I wanted to ski that so badly with you guys!! Hopefully I‘ll get it this year in better light.

Carl - I like the down booties! Did you not ski off the summit??

nah, we never spoke... we were a little behind you guys, maybe 300 yards or so. We left the parking lot 5-10 min after your group.

I saw there were 2 hikers who left with you guys, maybe it was them you talked with?

Anyway - good work in the poor visibility.

Brian: Real food on the mountain is the way to go...

aHudge: We're you the guys we were talking with below the N Face?

Aubrey: I think the last one was Coors Light, but we may have had Upslope there...thanks again for the beer Brian.

sstrauss: Thanks dude!

Caroline: It'll be worth it to wait for better visibility, had I known it was gonna suck that much I would have waited too but we figured we‘d just knock it out since we already paid the $10...when we gonna get out again huh??

really enjoyed this report of that misty afternoon, captured the day quite well. And way to show shots our grill to finish off the day, that could/will become a norm to post-ski/climb festivities from now on. Sorry I never got you my shots, but these look the same, if not better.

summit descent
5/2/2011 2:23pm
Yeah, I‘m calling it a summit descent. There was a very small patch of snow near the summit block or a much larger patch of snow 100 feet over on the ridge that was just as high, I chose the latter.

The down booties were a little too toastie!
