 Massive and South Massive

I hiked in on Saturday and summitted on Sunday.

The road in to Halfmoon was perfect. There was some snow patches on the trail but the turnoff of the Colorado Trail was easy to find. I got around treeline and camped at 11,800. I started around 8:30 and the snow was still solid going up point 12,466. Coming down I was postholing. Above point 12,466 there was only a couple of easy snowfileds to cross. At the saddle I put on my crampons but probably did not need them. The crossover to the top was easy snow to kick step into. It was a little windy but very nice weather. I summitted and then came back down to the saddle and climbed south Massive. There were a couple other groups that glissaded or went straight down the face of Massive. Fun stuff.

Is there continuous snow for a ski descent? Do you remember if there is good snow on the steep ridge immediately southwest of the summit? I‘m looking for skiing possibilities, and your input would be very helpful!

The snow from the top to about 12,500 would be good to ski but a lot has melted below. That top part would be a nice little run.
