I've collected no small amount of high quality beta from here, so I wanted to return the favor. Thanks to all those who've provided said beta.
While meandering the series of tubes known as the internets, i came across a little gem of a north facing couloir on the easternmost sub peak of Red Pk, in the Gore Range. I rallied a crew and at 7am we were skinning up through the forest from Willowbrook TH. In about 3 hours we were breaking out of the trees and in to the basin that forms the eastern flanks of E. Red.
with some mindful route selection, the approach through the woods was simple, and from there its just follow your nose to the summit. Good views of all the N facing goodies on Buffalo. I skied the Silver years ago, but this day i noticed other interesting lines that veer off from the upper section of the Silver.
After a total of about 4 hours, we topped out on EE Red Pk. The couloir is just to the NW of the true summit, and some short billygoating was required to descend to the entrance.
Love the ruggedness of the Gore, as we all do, E. Thorne Pk represents in the backdrop from the top of the coolie
Conditions were wintry, chalky, windpack. Highly enjoyable.
CR gettin after it.
AC through the spindrift
MD representing for the knee-dipping mountain fairies
AC and MD chillin mid coolie. Top to Bottom the line is a shade under 2,000 ft.

The exit
We all agreed that this was an excellent couloir. Very aesthetic. Straightforward approach (by Gore standards). It varies from 45ish to 40ish, depending on the section. It does have a couple of chokes that were clean this time, but aren't always in. But that's part of the adventure. If you live in Summit, this is literally in your back yard. Go Get It!

Hey Thinair, nice TR! Were you able to ski out the exit? From your picture it was kind of hard to tell if there is a line through all the rock. This line is on my short list! Nice work.
