That's Sundance Mtn; you see it driving up trail ridge road just as the road leaves tree line.
Hoping for a good snow pack, I left Greeley at 4:30am to do a little cross country skiing up trail ridge road. I was somewhat disappointed in the snow pack, I skied half the time and walked my skis the other half.

After getting above tree line, I was rewarded with some spectacular views of Longs Peak!

After Breaking tree line, I saw Sundance Mountain to my right and decided to hike up to the top; it just seemed like a good idea. Unfortunately cross country ski boots aren't very comfortable for hiking .

Great views from the top, but wow! What a tremendously windy day, gusts to 65+! I could hardly stand up!
