 Almost La Plata

Left the Springs around 4 and got to the trailhead by 6 with only one other car there. Immediately started on the trail and took a wrong turn just after the bridge so I decided to go back to the car and check the book, that I had left behind by accident, for trail details. After crossing the vehicle bridge which has a great view of La Plata and Ellingwood Ridge I noticed how many clouds were accumulating and as I stood there for a moment the peak became engulfed in clouds. I decided not to continue on with my hike and head back home. As I was leaving BV I noticed that Princeton was totally covered with clouds with the only thing being visible was the treeline below. I assume that the Collegiate Peaks or any peak in the Sawatch got a considerable amount of snow. Not sure if it will melt or if this is the first real snow of the year. Sorry I dont have any pictures but I‘m looking to do Pikes tomorrow and will post a trip report with pictures this time.
