 Week in the San Juans

Started a great week of San Juan climbs on the 10th with a 4hr RT of Uncompahgre from Nellie Creek TH. Moved to Matterhorn TH that night for a 6 hour RT of Wetterhorn. Weather, trails, and roads were great.
On the 11th we drove over Engineer Pass (ugh) to Ouray for a soaking, great dinner at Bien Tempo and slept in a cabin.
Though not in any 14er book it is on the Trails Illustrated Map for the area, we backpacker 4-5 miles from the Woods Lake TH into Navajo Lake. This comes from the north and was recommended to us by the guys in the blue Toyota FJ at Uncompahgre (THANKS GUYS, IT WAS GREAT). Spent the next 3 days climbing the Wilson Group. Experienced snow, rain, and wind along with a near summit of Gladstone Peak (unintentional, go LEFT not Right at the saddle!).
This was a great week and very good climbing.
All roads were clear and trails well cairned except for the gully of El Diente...GO UP, WATCH FOR ROCK FALL!
