 Snowboard Belford‘s N Coulior

Sara and I camped near the Missouri Gulch TH with good weather in store we slept in late.
Image Sara at the start of the snow.
Image Jesse at treeline, the snow was already very slushy and weak even with snowshoes it was a struggle in the trees not to posthole.
Image A far view of Belford as we approach.
Image Closer look from further up the basin.
Image Omonious snowslides...
Image Sara above treeline took us forever to get to good solid snow to snowshoe in.

Image Carrying the boards with Maya in tow.
Image Sara cruising up the coulior the snow was much better to shoe in as we gained more altitude.
Image It was 5:30 by the time we were here and we didnt wanna have to hike out in the darkness. So Belford escaped us this time by just a few hundred feet, but the best line of our lives awaited. Carefully straped in we took turns decending, taking movies and pics while the other rode!

Image we tried to ride through the trees down to the creek crossing but were unable to stay afloat in the weak snowpack. After a very long walk out we made it to the trailhead just as the sun was setting. Deffinitly the best run I've ever taken, not too hard to accend with the snowshoes and worth all the work
