 Quandry - East Ridge

Heading up to Quandry on July 5, 2008. Started at 5:30 a.m. with only 1 group in front of me. The weather was fantastic.
Up higher with no snow at this point. There was not wind.
Mountain goats were numerous and a couple of times I had to get off the trail to let them pass, sometimes within 5 feet.
Getting close to the summit. Just above this there was about 40 yards of snow to climb but I did not have any issues with postholing.
Me on top. I hit the summit at 7:45 and there was some wind. I tried to sign the summit log but it was in shredded pieces within the tube. I was amazed at the line of people on the way down and I stopped counting after 100. I was back to my car at 10:00.
