Thanks for sharing Prakash. We need to get out and hike at least once this season.

A new career?

That is one dry sense of humour. Perhaps you can come and play the Comedy Club here in Wan Chai. The summit shot will make me chuckle all week.

Thanks.

for stopping by to calm us in our state of distress. It is my sincere prayer that no one has to endure such misery in their lifetime. Satan hit us with unrelenting slope angles, agonizing windchills and neck deep trail breaking but our strong minds prevailed.

Very nice! Reminds me of the time Jamie and I made the grueling ascent up Sugarloaf Mountain in Boulder County. We seriously considered making a multi day ascent of it. Near the top, I ran out of my supplemental oxygen! We had to share on the way down. I passed out when we reached High Camp... the one we skipped. Luckily, a bearded man walked over to camp and handed Jamie a dose of dexamethasone to give me, so I turned out ok. It was a good learning lesson about moving too quickly on the really high altitude peaks.

Great read ... and awesome photos! I think ”anti-cruxtactic” should be added to Merriam-Webster‘s Collegiate Dictionary, right behind Google and bling.

Unintentional artistic tilt--WTF?

That was a lot of fun to read. Thanks. It‘s like Dante with snow.
Sitting here in the midwest, staring across hayfields at the majestic Ozarks, it makes the plane back to CO seem so far away...
Hope to see you around this summer.

P.S. For the moderators, the ”F” in WTF could be any word that starts with F...

A bit of everything...

Couloirs, traverses, scrambling, treacherous class 1 terrain, and annoying drums!
I don't like to brag, but Old Baldy is going on my list of accomplishments.
