The fresh 12"+ of snow made the upper face a bit sporty!

Do we have to leave? What's that you say, we get to play with ropes? Well, alright let's go.

A large rock provided ample support for the 95' rappel:

Jordan waits:

Pack that BS, its time to ski !

(Adimmen)

(JCWhite both)

Steeper than expected:

(JCWhite)

Jordan cuts the slope:

Fresh 16" of wintry snow. This has got to be a dream?

(Adimmen)

Rolls over a bit:

(Adimmen)

Does a funnel come to mind?

(JCWhite)

Jordan gettin' his:

Jordan busts some crust on the ski down into Yankee Boy Basin. Birthday chutes behind, our ascent route:

The overhanging area on the shelf road was a bit sketchy. As we skied up to it, we watched a huge piece of ice fall onto the road. Safe to say we trucked through this pretty quickly making sure not to walk under any of the ice.

Sorry for all the images, there were so many good ones I didn't put in! One doesnt often get so lucky on a deep powder descent of a 14er.

In the last 10 days, you and Andy hit the NF of N Maroon, Landry line, and now the snake in pow! What a run of peaks! A slog for marginal conditions on a collegiate might be in order, just for you guys to put 14er skiing back into perspective

that first shot is coffee table book material, pretty amazing colors in there. Hell of a report, tons of solid photos and amazing snow conditions to boot, I wish I could‘ve said the same for Yale‘s coral reef crap.

That snow looks awesome. Perhaps a snorkel would have come in handy.
