…means “long, cold wallow." Nicely done Team Half-Baked – and fantastic photos. Glad you guys found a pleasant, grueling way to enjoy the peaks – sometimes the toughest trips are the most rewarding.

Right on!

It‘s great to see someone post a report on these two; McCurdy is on my short list for the spring season, and it‘s nice to know what the conditions are right now.

”We don‘t need no stinkin‘ snowshoes!”
(ok, so maybe we do;)
Yes, good words of wisdom Kevin. That would have been miserable without the snowshoes!
Wait a minute, it was miserable with them!!
Good trip and nice write up.

”Team Half-Baked” should get out again sometime.

Death March

Bison & McCurdy is a death march in good weather; add postholing to the mix, and it‘s a masochist‘s dream come true. Bison Peak is one of the most memorable summits in Colorado. Thanks for posting!

Very impressive!

He‘s in better shape than you, huh? I want to see this...
Nice report, all the same, but I‘m going to wait for less rigorous conditions to get a toehold in the LCW!

Nice job!!
