Great trip report!!! I spent 5 days backpacking in this area this summer and tried to climb Mt Alice on one of the days but got stormed off. We were trying to climb up the gully to the south when the the weather turned. We had to find a rock cave on the way down and hunker from the lightning and hail. The next day we completed our trip by going up from Lake of Many Winds across Boulder Grand Pass and down into the West side of RMNP to Lake Verna and Grey Jay back country camp. It was fun to cross the whole park on a back packing trip. Wild basin is amazing! Here is a picture of the face as we tried to climb up the grassy gully on the left.

Nice pics! Brings back memories from when I worked at ROMO from 1998-01. This was one of my favorite areas of the park.
