 Humboldt in early June

Great trip, but for two reasons this was much tougher than anticipated.

1. Downed tree on trailhead road required 3.5 mile hike each way.
2. Heavy snow conditions (yes in June) really slowed us down. Snow was really only issue in lower valley, but even w/snowshoes it was very slow going.

Great summit...yes beware the false summit.

Started hiking at 7am, summitted at 1pm, back to car (3.5 miles down trailhead road) at 6pm.

Great hike.. would look forward to it later and with a truck to get me to the top of the trail head.
