 Bell Cord w/Traverse

We ascended Bell Cord Couloir, did the traverse, and descended the standard route on N Maroon Peak. The couloir was in nicely, and the rest was dry - perfect conditions. The weather was spectacular too.

Wow, another stunning video, Andy! Did you guys stay on the east side of the ridge above the saddle? I don't remember climbing anything that exposed!

our route

Kevin - we tried to stay as true to the ridge as possible. This meant three 5.easy cruxes for us (all in the video). (1) A chimney/gully right after the saddle (on the west side) that got us back onto the ridge crest (2) The major headwall thing right on the ridge (3) another chimney very soon after the major headwall (on the west side). Other than that we were pretty much on the ridge crest the whole way. To my recollection we followed my exact path from '05.

I'll try to write up a trip report with some more details in the next day or two.
