Mt. Sherman before sunrise and Gemini after

Got up early with my two sons to beat the sun. Started at Leavick and headed up in the dark. The cresent moon was all we needed though we brought the headlamps to make it look official.

The ascent was fast (< 2 hours) and most enjoyable in the quiet of the early morning, having the entire mountain to ourselves. Above 13,000 the ice on the rocks from the very damp conditions woke us quickly.
