Did Sneffels this last Saturday. This is an amazing peak. Everything about it is beautiful. Thanks to the late spring, there was still a bunch of wildflowers on the approach. The peaks in the area are all rugged and awesome. I brought my wife on this one for her 1st fourteener. She was in awe, but got spooked a bit with the final couple of moves because of the mild exposure.

I dont agree with the class 2 rating on this peak. Although it is class 1 or 2 for 99% of the route, the last part is not class 2. It would be impressive to see someone "walk" over the V-notch (I am not saying that it is impossible to do that without your hands - just not probable).

Anyway, it was an awesome trip and the weather seemed to clear up just long enough for us to do it. A great trip!!!
