I climbed Belford and oxford via the Missouri Gulch TH on 8/27.

We started at 6:15. Kind of a steep hike through the trees. Weather was perfect in the morning, sunny and very comfortable.
We summited Belford just after 9, so it took us just about three hours.
After a couple snacks, water and pics, we went across the saddle to Oxford. Oxford seemed like it was very fats to get to. We knew that it would be a pain to come back over Belford again.
As we were on top of Oxford the clouds really began to move in fast. We decided to get back across Belford as soon as we could. As we got down Oxford and onto the saddle, it began to hail and the thunder started to rumble. We got about 2/3 of the way back up Belford when the thunder just got too close for comfort so we decided to hunker down and wait it out. The lightning continued and the air got colder. Soon it was all out snow coming down. We sat for about a half hour as a inch and a half of snow fell on us. It had been about ten minutes since we heard thunder, so we decided to make a break for the top of the ridge.
When we hit the top the wind was fierce and blowing snow right in our faces. We decsended down and it started to clear when we got down to Missouri gulch. This created some great scenery with a fresh dusting of snow and the sun out. Great pics!
We then went on down from there. All in all a great day!
