Good day playing in the snow

Parked my Jeep about 3 miles up the Kite Lake road, from Alma. Road not passable beyond that, so hiked about 2.5 miles up to the lake, then up into the high basin. Peaks were pretty socked in that morning, couldn’t see Democrat nor Lincoln, nor even the ridge between them. Clouds over Bross were a little more broken, so veered right and headed up there. From there, pretty easy ridge run over to Lincoln. Then descent to the Democrat/Lincoln saddle, then up Democrat. Though I’ve done that peak about 5 times, I forget it’s fairly steep from the ridge to summit, and in snow it was work. But did it, and headed down. Put on snowshoes at the saddle, and those worked well down past the lake before taking them off when I got on the road back to the car. Temps were decent that day, around 20 degrees but the usual 40mph winds, occasionally gusting stronger.

This is more of a peak condition update rather than a trip report.

Is that a picture of Lincoln's south face?
