Quandary Peak Climb - 7/29 McCullough Gulch TH

Solo hiked this peak with 50-60 other mountain lovers. Hit the TH at 8:30AM and reached the peak at 10:00 AM. Very easy, well-defined trail that offers some awesome views of surrounding ranges. With the aid of my binoculars I was able to see a few folks on Mt. Lincoln. Saw 2-3 marmots. Was surprised to see many insects on the summit (flies, bees, butterflies). After enjoying the summit for one hour (very nice day) I made my descent and reached the TH at 12:00 PM. The last 1000 of the ascent is the most challenging portion of the climb. Hats off to the CFI folks for establishing a great trail. Hats off to the many hikers that climb this peak also as I did not see one piece of trash on the hike.
