Camped just below treeline and hit the trail at 5:00am. Summitted just after 7:00 and was back in camp before 10:00. Hiked the road up until just short of the ridge and then went straigt up the ridgeline (over the point) across the saddle and upwards to Anteros summit. It would be much easier to follow the road around the south side of the point and take the switchbacks up to the final saddle. FYI -- The road was still blocked to full-size vehicles by a single snow drift two switchbacks below the ridge. Several folks with mining claims on White Mountain were helping the melting process with shovels so it is surely open by now. Lots of traffic on the road from about mid-morning on. The weekend was so dry and sunny that people heading up through treeline in late afternoon were able to summit!
