 Pacific Peak - North Couloir

I did this hike starting from Mohawk Lake 4WD TH. We followed the Mohawk Lake trail and went all the way to upper Mohawk lakes and started route finding from there going up to Pacific Peak from North. The start of scramble was class 3 but the rocks even the big ones were loose. I managed to get a 200 lbs rock rolling! We ended up in a class 4 section with a very steep gulley and rotten rocks. It was very hard to find a solid rock to get a good grip (first photo). After getting to the ridge, hike was easy, just hopping on rocks to the peak.

For the descent, we found another route which was upper class 3 in some sections. If you use my GPX file, use the descent route for climbing up and down the North Couloir to avoid the class 4 sections. My descent route is the right one on the way down in the file. I recommend using this route only to an experienced hiker.
