Gray Wolf, Spalding, Warren - from Summit Lake

Our day started from the Summit Lake parking lot with the primary objective of summiting Gray Wolf. Along the way we found some fun scrambling opportunities on Spalding's east ridge. The views weren't too shabby either. Other than a foot soaker, the hike from Spalding to Gray Wolf was beautiful but relatively uneventful. On the way back from Gray Wolf we found more good scrambling on Spaldings east ridge. Once down from Spalding we scrambled up Mount Warren's short southwest ridge. Mount Warren was super fun and provided more great views... completely worth while. We covered 6.4 miles and 3180 vertical.

Great description of the route, I definitely want to do this route soon! Great views! Thanks for inspiring and sharing! Love the Merely a Flesh Wound site, and Monty Python nod.
