 Refrigerator Couloir

The Refrigerator Couloir was in condition even this late into a warm spring. The couloir can be icy and there is certain to be loose and falling rock during the spring melt. The couloir itself was not as steep as I expected, but the descent off of the peak down toward the saddle with North Apostle was much more confusing and unclear than I imagined. I stayed completely on the SE face of Ice at the top and trended on the south side of the connecting ridge across thin ledges and one snow-filled gully.
